Okay, what happened to British Summer Time? I was woken this morning by Dawn pulling back the bedroom curtains and telling me, "Look at this." Dreary-eyed, I pulled myself up and looked out the back to see a blanket of snow everywhere. And it was still falling. I tried to get back under the covers, but that didn't work. So I got up, got dressed and jumped in the car to drive around a bit and take some nice photos of Hertford's WINTER WONDERLAND in APRIL!!!
Needless to say, we spent the rest of the day at home. Chores followed, and Dawn's video call to Brady as usual. I also made a large pot of my Best Ever Chili. Then, would you believe it? The sun came out and by tea time the snow had all dispersed and there was a glorious blue sky above. That's one thing I love about being home - the seasons. I just don't expect them all in one day.
