No decorating today. Instead we caught a train to Finsbury Park to pay Dad and George a brief visit. Normally we go on a Saturday. But there was no way that Dawn would battle with the best part of 60,000 descending on the north London to watch Arsenal. So, we left a little earlier than normal, had a lite lunch at Nandos, and spent some time with Dad.
When we got home, I made an excellent leek and carrot soup while Dawn did the ironing before ordering some Christmas gifts online for her sister Kelly and our niece Michaela.
