Tues, Jan 6th

Day two and the ground in Hertford was still frozen. Our backyard was still a layer of white. But then again, when Dawn and I got in the car to drive to the station, the temperature gauge displayed minus six degrees Celsius (22 degrees Fahrenheit). And it did not get above freezing all day......
