Wed, Mar 11th

Dropped Dawn off at Hertford North so she could catch a train to work, then drove to Enfield. Thankfully I only had half a day today (which was still nearly 6 1/2 hours). Then it was over to the Whittington Hospital to visit Dad again.

Dad, I can report, is in good spirits despite no sign of his much-need kidney operation. Now they want to do a bone scan, too. He did look a little better than he did last Saturday, but was still on the oxygen. He has lost a little weight, too. But he could do with that, so that's not a problem.

Finally, this evening we got an unexpected knock at the door. A local dairyman wanted to know whether we would be interested in receiving milk deliveries. We jumped at the chance to have milk delivered in glass bottles that can be collected and recycled. Our new deliveries should start on Monday.
