God's day of rest. But as it was a gorgeous sunny day, a bank holiday weekend, and as our front yard was being taken over by weeds that would make Kudzu proud, I decided to do some yard work. In the process we found out that we have two tiers out front that would be ideal for some flower beds. After filling up our 14o litre garden waste bin and three dustbin liners, I realised that this project will take a while.
With my joints reminding me how old I am getting, I relaxed by watching the Monaco F1 Grandprix and Newcastle United being relegated from the Premier League.
For dinner I then made some chicken and mushroom risotto for the first time. It was pretty good.
We then relaxed in front of the television watching Dan in Real Life. It was a nice feel good movie and a nice way to end the day. Although to tell the truth I ended the day by reading a book on Environmental Management in Organisations in bed.
