The day started with Tiny enjoying Christmas morning for the first time in three years. She went through her Christmas stocking smelling each mouse and toy one by one before tearing one with catnip in to bits, leaving the catnip all over the carpet.
Paul and Dawn then opened their Christmas presents alternating between each other to watch the other one's reaction to their wrapped gift. Dawn received several books and CDs, plus a pair of earrings and sweater from Paul. Paul too received several books, plus some slippers and a housecoat and an IPOD docking station. The two also got some books and CDs and some sheets and pillow cases from Brady and Jim, and some cash from Paul's dad and brother George.
Paul then made some Eggs Benedict for breakfast before preparing the veggies for dinner while Dawn vacuumed up the catnip.
Paul's brother Phillip phoned with his Christmas greetings before Paul and Dawn headed over to Holloway to collect Paul's dad and brother George and bring them back to the Hertford so they could all share some Christmas dinner.
