Dawn has had another week of problems with her daily commute to work, but not for the reasons she has become familiar with. On both Monday and Tuesday, I got held up in traffic on the way to pick Dawn up at the Hertford North station. What made matters worse was that I couldn't find out what caused the problem. On both occasions Dawn had to start making her own way home walking, while carrying some kind of injury in her foot. Thankfully I was able to meet her halfway home. Wednesday night I left 15 minutes early and sailed through in no time and had to wait 20 minutes for her train to arrive. On Thursday, there was another delay but Dawn's train was late, and on Friday I left ten minutes early and got out just before the traffic built up. Hopefully next week won't be so bad.
