Today we headed out to St Albans to visit a gas fire showroom. As much as we like having an open fire where we can light our logs and listen to them crackle, it's just too much work keeping the damn fire clean, not to mention we can only use it while we're in the house all day. We really wanted something that we could use in the mornings before work and in the evenings, too. A nice gas fire would suit the bill perfectly. We left after placing an order to have one fitted in about five to six weeks' time. Unfortunately when we got home we noticed that it looks like we have another water leak. This time from underneath the shower. Needless to say, we're not looking forward to having to deal with this too.
