Tonight I called Dad to check on him and got no answer. As he didn't sound too good on Thursday, I immediately called the Whittington Hospital and found that he had been admitted to the Recess ward. Several calls followed before I found out that he had gone there earlier in the afternoon with a fever and high pulse rate. Thankfully they had given him several ECGs and said that he wasn't having another heart attack. By 9pm they said that he had a cold and they were keeping him overnight for observation. George was with him and said he seemed okay.
