Today Dawn stayed off work with a stomach complaint. It had been playing up for over a week, so she decided to see her GP. He gave her a prescription that seems to have eased the symptoms, if not cured the problem. She then spent the rest of the day on the computer typing out minutes for work that she hadn't been able to complete when she was in the office thanks to countless interruptions and the piles of other work she needed to do.
