We had plans to catch the train to visit Dad today. But canceled our journey because of Dawn's flu. One, we thought it would be better if Dawn rested at home; and two, we didn't want Dad to catch Dawn's cold.
Dawn, however, could not stay at home all day. We had to pop into town for our haircut, and then dropped into Morrisons to do the weekly grocery shopping. Then it was home in time for Dawn to settle down in front of the television so she could watch three back to back episodes of American Idol while I sat at the dining table processing last week's timesheets (because I couldn't get them done at work this week).
