Saturday means grocery shopping. So after pottering around the house we headed out to Morrisons stopping at the Post Office on the way so we could mail a parcel to Michaela Dixon for her 10th birthday.
After lunch we headed out again to visit Dad. Once again we went by train instead of driving. I also used the opportunity at the station to purchase my monthly rail ticket. On Monday I will be going by train instead of by car. I can't wait. Especially the two mile walk to and from the station and office.
Later on, after we had got back from our visit to Dad's, I popped out to the Frying Pan for some fish and chips.
