Friday couldn't come soon enough for me. Following on from the Wednesday, I juggled helping our HR controller with my own responsibilities of overseeing the bought ledger, supervising the office junior, and reviewing and liaising with our database developer. Then yesterday on the way home to the station from work, Dawn texted me that she was on the earlier train. She did say that I need not rush, but I did anyway. I made it with a minute to spare, albeit hot and exhausted. But at least it meant that we got home quarter of an hour earlier than normal. Fifteen minutes means a lot to us when we have such an early night.
