Dawn emailed her line manager yesterday to fill her in on her visit to the doctor and hospital and was told to take today off work and rest. She felt it was more important that Dawn put her feet up for the next couple of days and come back Monday.
Well, Dawn followed her bosses words to the letter. Unlike yesterday when Dawn drove me to the station, I had to take myself this morning. Just like I did yesterday, I caught the 6:31am train to Moorgate. Then, once I had left she settled down with Tiny and took it easy for the rest of the day. On one occasion when we spoke she was stretched out on the bed with Tiny. As for her cough, it's still there. And doesn't seem to be getting better any time soon.
