On the seventh day God rested. Well, I don't blame him one little bit. The last six days depleted most of our energy and we still had bits and pieces to do around the house. Dawn, the usual laundry and ironing, and me cooking in the kitchen. Thankfully, I made two pies last night so I didn't have to spend too long in the kitchen today. However, I did made Dawn a nice vinaigrette for her to have on the salads she makes for her lunches at work.
I also made a nice apple pie that Dawn and I had for dessert, not to mention some scrumptious hot custard.
