Fri, Feb 13th

Friday the thirteenth and I am glad to say that no more snow had fallen overnight and we were able to leave for work as usual. However, with the temperatures still a few degrees below freezing, we decided to park the car in West Street and walk over half the way to Hertford North Station.

At work, my boss and his boss were out of the office today so I was able to concentrate on environmental stuff again. However, while the cat's away, the mice will play. So, I had to put with the mouse who got on my nerves again today, including listen to him telling everyone that the dust from the GE building that was being demolished was probably polluting the local environment with asbestos. God give me strength. For those who remember the GE building in Enfield, I've taken a few more photos. Above is probably the last you'll ever see of the main building. This time next week it will be gone.....
