A stressful weekend came to a nice close with a visit from my daughter Hayley. I picked her up from Hertford East after work and, after picking up a cooked chicken at Tesco, headed back to the house to enjoy a chicken salad and her company.
It goes without saying that we enjoyed spending time with Hayley and catching up with her. Although we email and text each other regularly, it was the first time that we had seen her this year.
