My last day of my long weekend, and I had to make a special trip to the local Kwik-Fit shop to get a new tyre and have all four wheels' tracking and balance checked. That was over one hundred pounds that we didn't budget for, and didn't really want to have to fork out. At least it's done now, so we can feel somewhat happier that they'll be okay when we head north on our long drive to Scotland in a few weeks.
Back at the house we just took it easy and relaxed. I'm now onto book six in the Harry Potter series. So no doubt I will be one of those eager readers awaiting the release of the final episode when it's released in July. Dawn has been reading a couple of John Grisham books, although at the moment she is reading a biography I bought her for Christmas on Bono.
