Things did not go too well today. We got up early so we could run some errands, get our haircut, do the grocery shopping, and do a whole string of things at home.
Well, we were in Hertford town by 9am. We dropped into Boots for much needed dental stuff, popped into WH Smith to pick up a couple of maps, looked unsuccessfully in Woolworths for a cooler, bought some cards in Clinton's, and also got some cash from the ATM at the Halifax. All by 10.15am in time to get our haircut at A Head of Time. However, this is where things started to go wrong. Our hairdresser, Kelly, called in sick so she couldn't cut our hair. And just for good measure, the other hairdresser was fully booked so we couldn't get her to do it for us either. Rescheduling was not an option as we already have plans the next two Saturdays and would have to wait 3 weeks before they could fit us in. The answer was Supercuts. But I'll come to that next time.
We did the grocery shopping in Welwyn Garden City as usual, and then headed home for lunch. Dawn then got busy doing stuff around the house (including three wash loads), while I watched Spurs grab a very late equaliser against Arsenal in the 5th minute of injury time.
