Today my daughter Hayley paid us a visit. I picked her up at Hertford East Station and together popped into Tesco to get some sandwiches for lunch. Back at the house, with Dawn, the three of us chatted about our Christmases and caught up on things. It was great to see Hayley and spend some time with her. Hopefully in the new year she will be back so we can all pop into town and enjoy some of the local scenery. I even promised to cook us all a nice roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings next time.
