Today we had a ride up to Watton-at-Stone for lunch at The George & Dragon. A work colleague of mine that lives in Hertingfordbury recommended the place and she was spot on. The ambiance and food was excellent. Best of all was that we enjoyed a stroll around the little picturesque town and even found a butcher that sells mostly local food. We'll definitely be back here again. The butcher, who had been working there for over 30 years, also recommended some other pubs in villages nearby where we could get some excellent local food.
