Today was health and safety day at work. Which for me meant a couple hours doing the fire warden training. It was scary, to say the least. In one video it showed how a smouldering fire in a couch set the WHOLE room ablaze with billowing smoke in less than 5 minutes. I also got to put out a controlled fire with a CO2 extinguisher, and better still another fire with a fire blanket. Everyone watching saw how the flames flew over my head as I placed the blanket on the burning pan. Thankfully I didn't see or feel a thing.
