Sat, Apr 11th

Day two of our long weekend. We ran into Tesco for a few bits before heading into London to visit Dad. As usual when we pop up to Holloway, we stopped at Nandos in Stroud Green Road and had lunch. We decided to do what we did the last time we were there, when we took George. That was share half a chicken, a pepper dip with pita, and some olives.

Dad looked pretty well all things considering. He hasn't been out, but he had more colour than the last time we saw him. He had even added a few pounds of weight on. Perhaps that's because he preferred his own cooking to the stuff he got at the hospital.

Back home we relaxed in front of the television after I had made an excellent dinner of pan fried salmon with wild rice and cheese sauce on steamed broccoli. We saw the night out watching No Country For Old Men.
