Following all the work I have been doing recently towards ISO 14001 accreditation, and with Dawn being away from us, I decided to take the day off work. I can tell you, it was needed. I felt mentally exhausted.
With Dawn away in Coventry, and being restricted to just talking on the phone, I spent the day taking it easy and cooking. I made one large pot of chili, and a second of something that will be a surprise for Dawn. In fact, I'd never made it before so it will be a first for me, too.
Tiny is again coping well. It has helped having me home with her all day. No doubt she will be over the moon (as will I) to see Dawn home tomorrow.
