Normal service resumed. Tonight I caught the 15:41 train at Enfield Chase and am glad to report Dawn and I travelled back to Hertford North together. It just did not feel right the two of us being apart. However, we can both confirm that absence DOES make the heart fonder. Even Tiny was over the moon to see Dawn, too.
Dawn was also pleased to have a home made meal after snacking and downing all the calories she had the last few days while she was at the University of Warwick. Tonight she tucked into an nice homely vegetable stew I had made yesterday full of swede, celeriac, carrots, tomatoes, kidney beans, haricot beans and green lentils mopped up with some freshly baked store bread.
Tonight Dawn plans to chill out in front of the television with some Apprentice and American Idol. Roll on the weekend...........
